Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency
CRRA volunteers drive refugees to their appointments, help set-up apartments for new arrivals, sort donations, enroll refugee children in school, assist the agency with administrative duties, provide support in Cultural Orientation classes, coach students studying for citizenship preparation, and/or organize and clean the office. ourBRIDGE offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your skills, interests and availability. Whether you have just an evening to help staff a fundraising event or have the time to lead a major project, ourBRIDGE has a rewarding volunteer opportunity awaiting your talents. Primarily, volunteers work with kids and help with one on one homework and reading help.

Refugee Support Services
Refugee Support Services connects refugees to the greater Charlotte community by facilitating reciprocal relationships between refugees and Americans through the Fruitful Friendships Program. Refugee Support Services also offers Self-Sufficiency Skills Training and operates a Refugee Help Center. To volunteer at Refugee Support Services, click on "Volunteer."
Southeast Asian Coalition
At the Southeast Asian Coalition, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities. A majority of the volunteers participate in the Citizenship & Know Your Rights Fairs, where they are trained to fill out the N-400, I-912, and I-942. Another opportunity for volunteers is for the Youth Program, as mentors. It is an opportunity to connect with the youths and join us at our annual ROOTs Camp. Additionally, volunteers can support us by helping our civic engagement campaigns.
